THE PINE-ELK CREEK IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION (PECIA) is the local organization that works to improve the community surrounding Pine Grove, Colorado. Projects include the restoration of the historic Pine Community Center, maintenance of a "town shop" and tractor for road work, dumpster service for locals, and preservation of historical artifacts and documents.
